Water Transfer Operator

As a Water Transfer Operator, you play a pivotal role in overseeing the intricate systems that ensure the smooth flow of water from its source to its destination.

Now that you’re hired, here’s what you need to know: You will work on a crew to lay and pick up poly lines, lay flat hose, run transfer pumps, and underground pipeline systems from water sources to customer frac jobs. This includes loading and unloading field materials and equipment onto trailers and trucks for safe transport. In this job you will also set and service pumps and generators at job sites.

You will also assist in the containment and cleanup of spills. At the sites, you’ll observe machine operations, and gauges, and adjust controls to maintain the correct conditions.

Following safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE, is one of the most important parts of your job. To do your job, you need to use common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches. You’ll also be communicating with coworkers using hand signals, radios, and phones.

Finally, you’ll drive trucks and other vehicles to and from job sites, transporting equipment.

Our expectations: This is hard, physical work and you will work outside in all types of weather conditions, including extreme hot and cold temperatures. Shifts may fall on weekends and holidays. You must complete all training as required OSHA, DOT, and Select Water Solutions safety requirements.
